Eligibility

This quiz is open to all valid Indian citizens who have a mobile number and an email ID. Employees of Datanet India Private Limited are not eligible to participate.

Quiz Theme and Scope

The quiz is based on the Indian Economy, with special focus on the Economic Survey and the Union Budget for the financial years 2025–26 and 2026–27. The questions will test participants’ knowledge of economic indicators, fiscal policies, government expenditure, revenue, growth trends and key developments related to India’s economic framework.

Registration

Free registration for the quiz will commence on 20 January 2026. Participants must register through the official quiz website or by scanning the QR code provided on the poster. Only registered participants will be allowed to take part in the online quiz.

Online Quiz Period

The online quiz will be conducted from 20 February 2026 to 09 March 2026. Participants may attempt the quiz during this period using the official platform.

Registration Details

Participants must provide their name, email address, mobile number and other required details. By submitting the information, participants consent to IndiastatQuiz using it for quiz operations and verification.

Participant Profile

If you have participated in our previous quizzes, you do not need to register again for this competition. Your email ID will serve as your username and you can retrieve your password using the “Forget Password” option.

Exam Format

This competition will consist of only one online quiz round and winners will be declared solely based on participants’ performance.

Captcha

For security reasons, a captcha is provided between questions to ensure that the quiz is being taken by a real participant and not an automated system.

Languages

The quiz is available in English only.

Mode of Participation

The quiz can be taken only through the official website https://indianeconomy.indiastatquiz.com or via the QR code mentioned on the promotional materials. Any participation outside the official channels will not be considered valid.

Format

The quiz will consist of 45 multiple-choice questions, each having only one correct answer.

Time Limit

Participants must complete all 45 questions within 30 minutes. Time management is extremely important.

Scoring and Speed

The quiz is time-based. Completing it faster increases the chances of winning.

Tie-breaker

In case of a tie, the participant who completes the quiz in the least amount of time will be declared the winner.

Negative Marking

One-third (0.33) mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

Performance Percentage Calculation

Each correct answer carries 1 mark, and 0.33 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. (The percentage shown on the marksheet will be calculated by multiplying (Correct Answers – Wrong Answers × 0.33) by 100 and dividing the result by 45 (total questions).

Start Mechanism

The quiz will begin immediately once the participant clicks on the “Start Quiz” button.

Quiz Completion Rules

Do not refresh the page during the quiz. Your entry will be considered valid only after submitting all answers. If the quiz closes midway for any reason, the answers submitted up to that point will be treated as the final entry.

Number of Attempts

Each participant is allowed a maximum of two attempts, with the second attempt to be taken immediately after the first. The better of the two scores will be considered for the final result.

Email Policy

Only one registration will be allowed per email address.

Participation Certificate

Upon successful completion of the quiz, participants will have the option to download a digital participation certificate.

Prizes and Winners

Winners will be selected based on their performance in the online quiz. The first prize is ₹15,000 in cash, the second prize is ₹10,000 in cash and the third prize is ₹7,500 in cash.

Result Declaration

The results of the quiz will be published on the official website on 12 March 2026. Participants will be able to view their results online. Individual result notifications may not be sent separately.

Answer Key Availability

The answer key will be available on the website from 16 March to 20 March 2026, allowing participants to review their questions and answers.

Prize Money Payment

The prize money will be transferred directly to the winners’ bank accounts after applicable TDS deductions as per rules.

Disqualification

In case of any misconduct, fraud or unfair practice, the organizer may disqualify the participant.

Final Decision

The organizer’s decision regarding quiz results shall be final and binding, and the organizer reserves full rights in the selection of winners.

Compliance

Participants must comply with all rules and conditions, including any modifications made by the organizer.

Right to Amend

The organizer reserves the right to modify any part of the quiz, rules or technical parameters as required. All updates will be published on the official website.

Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from these terms shall be referred to Datanet, whose decision shall be final and binding. Jurisdiction shall be limited to Delhi courts only.
