  1. Who is eligible to participate in the quiz?
  2. All valid Indian citizens who have a mobile number and an email ID can participate. However, employees of Datanet India Private Limited are not eligible.

  3. What is the theme of this quiz?
  4. The quiz is based on the Indian Economy, with special focus on the Economic Survey and Union Budget for the financial years 2025–26 and 2026–27.

  5. When does registration start?
  6. Free registration will begin on 20 January 2026.

  7. How can I register for the quiz?
  8. You can register through the official quiz website https://indianeconomy.indiastatquiz.com or by scanning the QR code mentioned on the quiz poster.

  9. What details are required for registration?
  10. You must provide your name, email address, mobile number and other required details. By submitting this information, you allow IndiastatQuiz to use it for quiz operations and verification.

  11. I participated in previous Indiastat quizzes. Do I need to register again?
  12. No. If you have participated earlier, you can use your existing account. Your email ID will be your username and you can reset your password using the “Forget Password” option.

  13. When will the online quiz be held?
  14. The quiz will be conducted from 20 February 2026 to 09 March 2026.

  15. How can I take part in the quiz?
  16. You can take the quiz only through the official quiz website https://indianeconomy.indiastatquiz.com or via the QR code provided in the promotional material.

  17. In which language will the quiz be conducted?
  18. The quiz will be available only in English.

  19. What is the format of the quiz?
  20. The quiz consists of 45 multiple-choice questions, with only one correct answer for each question.

  21. How much time will I get to complete the quiz?
  22. You will have 30 minutes to complete all 45 questions.

  23. Is the quiz time-based?
  24. Yes. The quiz is time-based and faster completion improves your chances of ranking higher.

  25. What happens in case of a tie?
  26. If two or more participants have the same score, the one who finishes the quiz in the shortest time will be ranked higher.

  27. Is there negative marking?
  28. Yes. 0.33 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

  29. How is the performance percentage calculated?
  30. Each correct answer carries 1 mark and 0.33 marks are deducted for each wrong answer.
    Your percentage will be calculated as:
    (CorrectAnswers - WrongAnswers × 0.33) × 100 ÷ 45

  31. How does the quiz start?
  32. The quiz will begin immediately when you click on the “Start Quiz” button.

  33. What are the rules during the quiz?
  34. You must not refresh the page. Your entry is valid only after you submit all answers. If the quiz closes unexpectedly, the answers submitted till that point will be treated as final.

  35. How many attempts are allowed?
  36. Each participant can take a maximum of two attempts. The second attempt must be taken immediately after the first and the best score will be considered for the final result.

  37. Can I register multiple times using the same email?
  38. No. Only one registration per email ID is allowed.

  39. Will I get a participation certificate?
  40. Yes. After successfully completing the quiz, you can download a digital participation certificate.

  41. What prizes are offered?
    • First Prize: ₹15,000 cash
    • Second Prize: ₹10,000 cash
    • Third Prize: ₹7,500 cash
  42. When will the results be announced?
  43. Results will be published on the official website on 12 March 2026.

  44. Will I be able to see the correct answers?
  45. Yes. The Answer Key will be available on the website from 16 March to 20 March 2026.

  46. How will the prize money be paid?
  47. Prize money will be transferred directly to the winners’ bank accounts after applicable TDS deductions.

  48. Can a participant be disqualified?
  49. Yes. Any participant found involved in cheating, fraud or unfair practices may be disqualified.

  50. Who takes the final decision regarding results?
  51. All decisions taken by the organizer regarding results and winners shall be final and binding.

  52. Can the organizers change the rules?
  53. Yes. The organizers reserve the right to modify any part of the quiz, rules or technical parameters. All updates will be posted on the official website.

  54. How will disputes be handled?
  55. Any dispute shall be referred to Datanet, whose decision will be final and binding. All legal matters will be under the jurisdiction of Delhi courts only.
